Class Description:

Our focus for this class is rhetoric and research.  For the first two-thirds of the semester we will read, dissect, and write arguments forged in the traditional rhetorical genres of academia and politics.  The first two papers will require you to take a position on a public issue and defend your position based on solid reasoning and support.  The final two papers will require both primary (interviews) and secondary (library) research.
