ENGL 306: Business Writing - WR

Sections for the Spring 2010 Semester

Catalog Description: Note: Approved for the Arts and Sciences upper-level requirement in written communication (WR). Designed for advanced Business students and Arts and Sciences students anticipating careers in law, business, or government. Concentrates on writing in a variety of forms of business discourse. Emphasizes practicing writing processes, developing an appropriate style, learning professional problem-solving, integrating oral and written communication, and using new communication technologies.

Prerequisites: ENGL 102 or 105
