An I-search project focuses on the *process* of conducting research by having students write a narrative, telling the story of their project. It's based on Ken Macrorie's assignment, and I use it for 102 and 309, as well as the last unit of 101.I try to make this assignment work for everyone by being flexible about the individual projects, as long as students discuss their work in process along with some of their findings.
