The movie Oleanna, was an interesting provocation for discussions in my ENG101 classes. It's a polarizing movie, with sympathies reversed from what we might expect. Using a format of open discussions, I believe I moved students from general to specific, from assumptions to facts and finally from biases to ojectivity.
